Florals and pastels

Looking through my wardrobe if noticed that, even though every season is different than the others, the main trends remain the same; for example, trends like floral prints, bright colors and loose skirts keep appearing in every spring collections. So you don´t have to spend a lot of money every spring because you already have those pieces, you just have to change the way that you mix them.

To fresh up our last year´s wardrobe and continue with my last trend cocktail, I´ve put on my last year´s floral print trousers that I used to wear with a bright orange T-shirt. This year´s change starts changing the top for a pastel blue shirt; this way I´ve renewed my outfit without spending more money. And they say fashion always means spending!

Mirando mi armario me he dado cuenta de que, aunque cada temporada es distinta de la anterior, las principales tendencias se mantienen; por ejemplo, tendencias como los estampados florales, los colores vivos y las faldas sueltas continúan apareciendo en todas las colecciones de primavera. De modo que no tenéis que gastar mucho dinero cada primavera; ya que ya tenéis todas estas piezas, solo tenéis que cambiar la forma en la que las mezcláis

Para actualizar las prendas del año pasado y continuando con el último cocktail de tendencias, me he puesto mis pantalones de estampado floral del año pasado, que solía combinar con una camiseta de un naranja vivo. El cambio de este año empieza sustituyendo la camiseta por una camisa de color azul cielo y, de este modo, he renovado mi outfit sin tener que gastar más dinero. ¡Y luego dicen que ir a la moda siempre implica gastar dinero!

Layering

Here´s the last look from my trip to London, and it´s a good example of the last tip I gave you to dress properly in places with this weather, so cold on the streets and so warm in the insides: layering. For this look I opted for a warm sweater and a denim shirt underneath it.

I built this entire outfit around the bold color trousers, warmer than a pair of jeans, which really combines with any color except red or yellow. Also, to add a little bit of sweetness to the ensemble, I added the pink choker because with a long necklace you would lose the visual effect that gives the choker; keeping the attention off the waist, where there´s no tightness.

Aquí tenéis el último look de mi viaje a Londres, que es un buen ejemplo del último consejo que os dí para vestir adecuadamente en este tipo de lugares, con un tiempo tan frío en las calles y tan cálido en los lugares cerrados: las capas. Para este look opté por un suéter abrigado y una camisa vaquera debajo.

Creé este outfit alrededor de estos pantalones de color tan vivo, que abrigan que unos vaqueros, y que combinan con cualquier color excepto el rojo y el amarillo. También, para añadir un toque más dulce al conjunto, utilicé esta gargantilla rosa porque un collar largo anularía el efecto visual que da la gargantilla; alejando la atención de la cintura, que es más bien holgada.
